We might be dreaming of a a beautiful, not-so-long-ago, sunny day when first grade got to take math outside! In their ABC countdown to summer, it happened to be c day. First-graders and their teachers grabbed their chalk, their math skills and headed outdoors. They practiced fluency up to 20 and students had a blast enjoying the nice weather and getting to work together.
Congratulations to our 6th grade MST Track and Field competitors on winning the trophy for the 2nd year in a row! 🏃🏻🏆🏃🏽♀️
Last years' winners handed off the trophy to this years' winners, and the greeting from our school when we came back was EPIC! 💥The MST love was felt by all! 🥰

6th Grade White Coat Ceremony @ MPAC: Wednesday, May 29th at 10 am
MST book fair and coin drive is already underway but we still have a few days to bring those coins! Proceeds go to "All For Books" and the MST Scholarship. The class that brings the most coins wins a party!

Teamwork makes the dream work during Wit & Wisdom in Ms. Powers's class!
Fourth grade students got to hear stories about one of their classmate's father's Army career. Mr. Cooper is a Sergeant First Class and the Station Commander of the Marion Army Recruiting Station. He shared about his experiences in Afghanistan and South Korea. Students got the opportunity to try out some of his equipment that he has used during his service. He even gave 4 boys a push up challenge. Thank you, Mr. Cooper for your service to our country!
In Discovery class, K-6 students learned all about the solar eclipse through a variety of activities.

Fundraiser Popcorn & other items will be at MST ready for pick up on Tuesday, April 9th, between 3:30-5:30. (please do not block the student pick up lane)
If you cannot make it on the 9th, you may pick up on Wednesday, April 10th, between 8:00-2:30
-We DO NOT have storage to keep items on campus any longer

Donut miss school is our challenge to see which homerooms have enough days of whole-class perfect attendance to fill up their donut miss school charts.

Each student will bring home a form with a code. All kindergarten and 6th grade students will be photographed and then you may purchase desired pictures online after reviewing your proofs.

Candy grams are on sale the mornings of 3/1-3/12 for 50 cents each. Parents may purchase in the office. They will be delivered to homerooms on on 3/15 to enjoy over spring break.
