The Marion Patriot Pride Marching Band will perform at the Arkansas School Band and Orchestra Association Region Marching at Assessment on Monday, October 26 at 7:00 p.m. in Patriot Stadium located at Marion High School. This is a very unique event due to COVID-19 restrictions. High school bands from across the state are being allowed to perform at their local stadium and the three judges will come to their school. Bands must earn a superior or an excellent rating at the region level in order to qualify for the Arkansas State Marching Assessment that will be held at War Memorial Stadium in Little Rock on November 2. The Region Marching Assessment being held at Marion High School will be open to the general public. The stadium will be open on the home side only and areas will be clearly marked for social distancing. "We are very excited to offer this opportunity to our students who have worked extremely hard to produce a great performance," stated Director of Bands Monty Hill. "Our students are thrilled to perform for our Patriot community," Hill added. Admission is free for this event.
