Congratulations To Aiden Jones @ The 7th Grade Experience! Winner Of Our No Temporary IDs Drawing For The Month Of February!

Earlier this week, Ms. Rich's French students (at MHS and MJHS) were learning about the celebration of Carnaval/Mardi Gras in the French-speaking world.
After learning about how people in the French-speaking world celebrate Carnaval/Mardi Gras, the French students got in the festive spirit by decorating and wearing their own colorful masks. Laissez les bons temps rouler!

Mr. Johengen's students, at MJHS, were tasked with creating a superhero, or villain that is based on an element on the periodic table. They began by becoming an expert on an element. They then used their knowledge to create super powers based on the properties of the element. They came up with a back story about how their character acquired their powers and what their motivation for being good or evil is. They then brought their character to life by creating an illustration.

The 7th Grade Experience's Book Fair Begins TODAY!!! (Monday, March 2nd) Happy Read Across America Week!!

Note the time change. Support your debate team.

These “little birds” are modeling the different bird beaks in order to make inferences about the birds’ habitat and best chances for survival. They are also learning about the many variations of species, even though they may look exactly alike on the outside.
