6th grade students participate in a Gallery Walk, in which they observed each groups’ work about the theme of the poem we are currently studying, A Poem for My Librarian, Mrs. Long!
Students worked together to create a rap or song about the 4 types of sentences: declarative, imperative, interrogative, and exclamatory. Then they got to share it with the class! Way to go 6th grade!

🌎 6th graders taking time to learn about Habit 7: Sharpen the 🪚.
6th grade had to synergize this week. We worked together in teams to build pyramids without using our hands! They were given string, a rubber band, and 6 cups.
Fifth grade had a great week.
