Band concert

The Marion High School Band will present a Band Concert and Awards Presentation at 7 p.m. Thursday, April 29 at the Marion Performing Arts Center.

Because of the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, and to protect the health and safety of students and guests, the concert audience will be limited to family members and school officials.

Each senior band member will be issued four tickets. All other students will receive two tickets each. All audience members must sit in marked spaces and masks must be worn at all times. Members of the same household may sit together, but maintain 6 feet of spacing from other groups.

The event will begin with an awards presentation, honoring graduating band seniors, underclassmen awards, and all-region awards.

The musical portion will feature the Marion High School Band performing a 20-minute program that will adhere to Covid-19 guidelines.

With a growing enrollment of nearly 3,900 students, the Marion School District is committed to helping students develop the academic, social, and decision-making skills needed to become productive citizens in the rapidly changing technological world.
