Out of respect for the safety of our students and our guests, the Marion School District has announced that next week’s MHS graduation ceremony will be a strict NO DRONE ZONE. Any individuals seen flying drone aircraft in or around the stadium during the ceremony will be asked to leave the premises.
As a reminder, the Marion High School graduation ceremony is set for 7 p.m. Thursday, May 23, at Southern Bancorp Stadium. Admission to the event is free, and no tickets are required.
For those who are unable to attend the event, livestream coverage will be available via the district’s YouTube channel or through the Marion Patriots Mascot Media App. (In the event of inclement weather, the event will be rescheduled for the following day, Friday, May 24, also at 7 p.m. at the football stadium.)
