About the Marion School District

The Marion School District offers one of the largest selections of academic pathways in the state, allowing students a personalized learning experience while meeting state standards. Students have access to an array of AP courses, concurrent credit college classes, an award-winning gifted and talented program, and more, all coordinated with the district’s innovative Hybrid Academic Calendar.

The educational curriculum is enriched with a wide range of championship-level extracurriculars, including numerous sports teams, band, drama, choir, robotics, many clubs, a first-in-the-region esports team, and more. An on-campus student health clinic ensures that student wellness is supported at all times. Through the Goldsby Scholarship program, Marion students can work toward an associate's degree at no charge while still in high school.
