The Marion volleyball team seeks a third straight 5A East title this fall, while preparing to host the state volleyball tournament for the second time ever in late October.

Marion's 2025 slate features 10 home dates, including eight league contests, and appearances in two highly competitive regional tournaments.

The Pats play in the annual benefit scrimmage jamboree on Thursday, August 21, at Valley View, in an event that features the past three league champions and teams expected to fight for this year's league crown.

Marion's 2025 season opens officially on August 25 with a home game against Wynne, followed by an August 26 trip to Collierville, Tennessee. August 28 ushers in league play as Marion travels to play at Greene County Tech.


The Pats open September action on September 2 with a visit from Nettleton, followed by a road trip on September 4 to Batesville. Marion caps its busiest week of the season on September 5 and 6 with a trip to the River City Classic in Bartlett, Tennessee.


Paragould comes calling on September 9, and on September 11, Marion travels to Valley View for the first of at least two meetings between the state powers this fall, followed by the first of two meetings with Crittenden County neighbor West Memphis on September 16.

Collierville returns a trip to Marion on September 18 for a non-conference clash, and Marion welcomes Mountain Home on September 22, followed by a 5A East road trip to Searcy on September 23.

The second round of league play begins on September 25 when Greene County Tech visits Marion, and the Pats head to Hot Springs September 26 and 27 for the annual MTXE Tournament at Lakeside. MHS closes out September on the 30th with a road trip to Nettleton.

Batesville helps Marion open its October slate on the 2nd in Crittenden County, and the Pats play their final non-conference game of the season on October 6 at Brookland, and Marion stays on the road the next night with a visit to Paragould.


October 9 marks the second Marion-Valley View contest of the season, this one being held in Marion, and the Pats play West Memphis for the second time on October 14 at West Memphis.


October 21 is the date of Marion's final road conference game of the season when the Pats visit Mountain Home, and MHS wraps its 2025 season on October 23 with a home date against Searcy.


The Class 5A state tournament opens on Monday, October 27, at Marion's Fidelity Bank Arena, with the quarterfinal round on October 28, and the semifinals being played on October 29. The Class 5A state final is scheduled for Saturday, November 1, inside Bank OZK Arena in Hot Springs
