Wednesday was an exciting day for our MST 3rd graders!
We had a very special guest from Action News 5 join us in class. Our students have been learning all about the water cycle, and what better way to wrap up the unit (and head into the Labor Day break) than to connect science to the real world?
A huge thank you to Patrick Ellis from Action News 5 for coming out and sharing your passion for meteorology with our students! The students loved learning about your career and even got to see real tools used in forecasting -- like an anemometer, rain gauge, and even the storm tracker used to follow storms.
What an unforgettable experience for our students!
