Yesterday, Melanie Brown's classes were part of an amazing activity on Developmental Relationships. Kennidi Ridgell, our School Based Site Coordinator from Arkansas Foundation for Medical Care, facilitated this activity to help identify healthy and unhealthy relationships. Students also learned how to set boundaries, have difficult conversations, and understand why these things are important. They learned how to be self-aware and practice good self-care. Thanks Ms. Brown and Ms. Ridgell.

Ms. Rakestraw's MHS Oral Comm. classes do what's called a "no-talking day" during their nonverbal communication unit. Well, that day is back and the students will do it tomorrow, Sept. 9. All students will have a form for teachers to sign AT THE END of class stating that they didn't use verbal communication during class. (Of course, there are exceptions.) Good luck, students!
