Last week’s winner, Mrs. Proffitt, awarded the Academic Culture of Excellence Award to
Ms. Alqueza, saying:
“I am proud to award the Academic Culture of Excellence to Ms. Alqueza, whose dedication and impact have helped many of our 7th grade students. Despite joining our school after the academic year had already begun, she quickly established herself as a committed educator, going above and beyond to support her student's growth. She is inspiring them to reach their full potential and fostering a love for learning.”

Congratulations to this year's student winners of the Spirit of the Season Award! Spirit of the Season Awards recognize attributes that we typically associate with the holiday season: kindness, compassion, joyfulness, and generosity. Teachers and staff nominated these students, and students also nominated teachers/staff. Those awards will be announced later this week!

On Friday all of our English classes collaborated by having combined Accountable Talk sessions in the Library. Classes were mixed into new small groups to encourage students to share ideas and thoughts on "The Outsiders."
