The Marion School District is celebrating PURPLE UP! for Military Kids on Friday, April 19!
The month of April is recognized nationwide as the Month of the Military Child. Throughout this month, educators are encouraged to sponsor and promote activities in their schools and districts to recognize, celebrate, and honor the children of military families for their own sacrifices because of their parents' military service.
The Arkansas Council for Military Children has designated Friday, April 19 as Purple
Up! for Military Kids Day. Faculty, staff, and students are encouraged to wear purple clothing on that day.

7GA students! Make sure to attend ATLAS testing each day this week and give your best effort! May Day will be held May 31, and in order to attend you need to do three things:
1. Have perfect attendance all three days of ATLAS testing (or make up all tests by May 3)
2. Give your best effort on all days of testing.
3. Attend the semester exam review days May 28, 29 and 30.

Don't forget! ATLAS testing is April 16, 17 and 18 (Tuesday - Thursday)! Students, please make sure you have your chromebook with you and that you have it fully charged. Bring the charging cord in case you need it! #7GAGrowTogether
7GA had an assembly today to kick off ATLAS testing, which starts tomorrow. Thanks to our guest speaker, Jaise King, for talking with our students about doing their best! Also thanks to our 7GA cheerleaders and staff members who made this event happen!
