Marion School District Helps with Community Food Giveaway

The Marion School District in partnership with Dominion World Outreach Ministries and the Foodbank of Northeast Arkansas hosted a community food giveaway.  Five hundred and sixty pre-packed boxes of meat and produce were distributed to any family, regardless of income level, that showed up at the Marion Sports Complex pavilion.  These boxes of food were offered by the Coronavirus Food Assistance Program that is funded by the USDA.  The turn out was amazing and all 560 boxes were given away to those in need.  Volunteers from the Marion School District and Dominion World Outreach braved the cold wet temperatures to serve their community.  Marion School District was well represented central office employees  sporting their Marion Patriot gear spreading goodwill toward our beloved community.  "Helping Dominion World Outreach Ministries distribute these boxes was our way of letting the community know we are here for them." said one MSD employee.    One Patriot One Community!
