Educational Methods and Assessment .5 credit This semester course emphasizes models of instruction, concepts of measurement, and skills of assessment to enhance learner achievement. Students plan and practice a variety of teaching strategies in a classroom lab environment, using the Arkansas Frameworks as a basis for content standards and assessment methods. Educational Technology .5 credit This semester course introduces computer applications for use in any classroom or training setting. A lab environment allows students to attain competency in word processing, spreadsheets, desktop publishing, presentation software, Internet/web page utilization, and electronic mail to impact learner achievement. A portfolio of projects documents mastery of the various applications.
