 | The Arkansas Department of Education requires all students who do not score proficient on state-mandated exams to receive remediation for the areas in which the student did not score proficient. Marion High School calls these courses Enrichment. A student will be placed in Algebra Enrichment if he/she does not score proficient on the Algebra I End of Course Exam. Geometry Enrichment is for non-proficient students who took the Geometry End of Course Exam. Literacy Enrichment is
for seniors who did not score proficient on their 11th grade End of Level Literacy Exam.
Students are placed in these courses for one semester. Fall or spring depends on the other courses that the student is currently enrolled. If a student does not meet the requirements of the Enrichment courses, he/she must take the course again or lose credit for the respective course. | |
