When you come to register your child please bring the following information with you. |
Enrollment Documents |
Complete Immunization Records including vaccinations for: polio, DPT, Measles (rubeola and rubella) |
An official copy of the child's birth certificate. *Click here for information on ordering copies of Birth Certificates
for children born in Arkansas. *Click here for information on ordering copies of Birth Certificates for children born in Tennessee. |
Copy of the child's Social Security Card |
Proof of Address in the Marion School District |
Contact information from previous school. At minimum, the name and address or phone number of previous school. |
Transcript, either official or unofficial, for students grades 9-12. |
Residency Requirements |
The following documents will be accepted as proof of residency in the Marion School District. |
House Payment |
Rent Receipt |
Utility bill with name of parent or guardian, address and current date. |
 Marion Water Bill may be used as proof of residence as of 11/1/07. However both sections must be present, or the account history must be included. (Account history may be obtained from the Marion Water Department.) |
NOTICE: Beginning July 1, 2007 the Marion School Board and administration will no longer accept affidavits as a method to document residency. Affidavits that were previously accepted will be no longer in force. |
PARENTS: If you do not have all required residency documentation for registration but believe your child is eligible to attend one of the Marion Schools, please contact the district Administration Office at 870-739-5100 for assistance. |

Click here | State Mandated Test Schedule | The Marion School District participates in all state mandated student testing. Benchmark exams are administered in the spring of each year. ACTAAP end of level exams are administered at different times throughout the year. Check here for the scheduled dates.
