SECOND GRADE SUPPLY LIST
2006-2007
Wide ruled notebook paper – 1 large pack
8 - #2 pencils
5 folders with pockets and 3 prongs (1 of each color – red, yellow, green, purple, blue)
(NO NAMES ON FOLDERS)
2 boxes of Crayola crayons (16 count box only)
2 large zipper pouches for pencils and crayons NO BOXES
Scissors (Fiskar’s)
Elmers glue (white only)
2 glue sticks
Black dry erase marker
2 boxes Kleenex
2 bottles hand sanitizer
PLEASE DO NOT WRITE ON FOLDERS. Your child’s teacher might request other items.
No hand-held pencil sharpeners.
No markers, trapper keepers, or mechanical pencils.
Second grade tablets may be purchased in the office for $1.00. They will be used for the first 9 weeks ONLY.
For your convenience, MES will be selling basic school supply packets. These will be available for purchase in August.
